چکیده
In the present study, amorphous tricalcium phosphate (TCP) has been synthetized by a wet route to obtain low temperature ?-TCP at 650 °C (LT-?TCP) and compare its structural, physical–chemical thermal properties with those of obtained conventional solid-state reaction method 1400 (HT-?TCP). Even if no significant differences were observed concerning values lattice parameters measured Rietveld refinement, LT-?TCP presented lower crystallinity higher crystal strains than HT-?TCP. The reactivity in water two different routes was assessed. Both raw samples appeared relatively inert solution did not favour nucleation calcium deficient apatite (CDA); HT-?TCP converted into only after milling. mechanical process leads decrease formation an phase, which is supported this work Raman spectroscopy. faster rate conversion milled compared can be assigned specific surface area, residual strain; these dissolution phase. Finally, setting ?-TCP-based bone cements regarding their synthesis route. Although does significantly affect times, kinetic CDA for Thus, modulation cement determined preparation grinding allows control overall reaction.

CALCIUM PHOSPHATE CEMENT: STUDY OF (BETA-TRICALCIUM PHOSPHATE, DICALCIUM PHOSPHATE AND CALCIUM CARBONATE SYSTEM
Calcium phosphate cements (CPCs), using B-tricalcium phosphate (ß-TCP, Ca3 (P04)2), dicalcium phosphate (DCP, CaHP04), calcium carbonate (Ca CO3), and hydroxylapatite (HAp, Ca10(P04)6(OH)2) as powder cement and disodium hydrogen phosphate (Na2HP04) solution as liquid component were prepared. After mixing the powder and liquid constituents, injectable and self-setting calcium phosphate cements (...

OBJECTIVES It is our aim to understand the mechanisms that make calcium phosphates, such as bioactive calcium hydroxyapatite (HA), and biphasic calcium (BCP) and β-tricalcium (β-TCP) phosphates, desirable for a variety of biological applications, such as the filling of bone defects. METHODS Here, we have characterized these materials by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), X-ray diffractio...
متن کاملPhysicochemical characterization of casein phosphopeptide-amorphous calcium phosphate nanocomplexes.
Milk caseins stabilize calcium and phosphate ions and make them available to the neonate. Tryptic digestion of the caseins yields phosphopeptides from their polar N-terminal regions that contain clusters of phosphorylated seryl residues. These phosphoseryl clusters have been hypothesized to be responsible for the interaction between the caseins and calcium phosphate that lead to the formation o...
